I'm New

Hi! So very excited that you’re checking us out!

We would love to see you connect with us here at The Network. We are a church for youth, an because of that we church unlike any other church in the Carlisle area. This church isn’t about a building (we don’t even have one!) or about music style or about perfect attendance on a Sunday morning.

Our name says it all: we are a network; a network of people. We meet together in smaller groups all over the area (find one close to you here), where you can love and be loved, grow and be equipped. All these smaller groups come together one a month. We come together to see that we are part of something bigger. We are network of teens; all in it together; living to R.E.A.C.T to Christ’s amazing love for us.

We would like to recommend a couple of pages that might be extra helpful:

Pray

“This is a critical time for the Church’s ministry among young people. The vast majority of children and young people are the ‘non-churched’. They know little if anything of the Christian faith and often have little sense of need for God, the transcendent or the spiritual. … The increasingly large proportion of society that has no history of church attendance – perhaps for several generations. There may be no one living in their extended family for whom church is part of normal life. No one prays for them by name.”
— Mission Shaped Youth

Let us repeat that: No one prays for them by name. That could actually deserve at least three exclamation marks, doesn’t it? NO ONE!!! They don’t have a parent, grandmother, an uncle, neighbour or anyone at all praying for them. It’s quite simply heart-breaking.

We would love for you to be a part of changing this. We want to make sure that at least all of the teenagers we meet and are contact with will have someone who prays for them by name.

We want challenge you to “adopt” one of our teenagers by agreeing to pray for him or her at least three times a week. You can do this by filling out the form below and we will contact you soon with a name and what information we have about the teen we are assigning you:
